What is LLM (Large Language Model)?

A large language model is an AI model trained on very large amounts of text to understand and generate language.

LLMs power chatbots, writing assistants, voice agents and coding tools. On their own they can produce confident but wrong statements, so business deployments usually ground them in trusted data (for example with RAG) and add guardrails.
