What is Conditional Call Forwarding?

Conditional call forwarding sends a call to another number only when a condition is met — you are busy, you don't answer, or you are unreachable.

Unlike unconditional forwarding (every call goes elsewhere), conditional forwarding leaves your phone working normally and only diverts the calls you miss. Mobile networks support it on iPhone and Android, usually configured in the phone settings or with a short network code.

It is how an AI call assistant can answer only the calls a tradesperson or owner can't take, without changing their number.
